The AdderView CATx 4000 Series is a range of secure, KVM CATx switches providing 4 concurrent users with BIOS-level control of up to 24 multiplatform servers. High Performance IP Access via VNC.

Dieser KVM Switch benötigt Anschlußmodule (CAMs), mit denen
die Server angeschlossen werden. Diese gibt es in den
Ausführungen mit PS/2, USB, PS/2 und Audio, USB und Audio,
sowie SUN USB.

Benutzerseitig ist ein lokaler Konsolenport vorhanden, anden der Arbeitsplatz im Schrank angeschlossen werden kann, z.B. eine Einbaukonsole oder einfach Tastatur, Mouse und Moinitor. Der Switch bietet hier USB und PS/2 Konsolen, sowie einen lokalen VGA Ausgang an.
Ausserdem gibt es zwei verstärkte CATx Ports, über die Benutzerstation bis zu 300m angesetzt werden können. Diese gibt es wieder in verschiendenen Ausfürhungen, z.B: PS/2, USB, mit lokalem KVM Switch auf remote Seite und auch mit Laufzeitenkontrolle um ungeeignete Kabel, lange Strecken etc. ausgleichen zu können.
